Roguelite Beat ’Em Up ‘Absolum’ Launches for iOS and Android November 5

Publisher Playdigious, in cooperation with Dotemu and developers Guard Crush Games and Supamonks, has announced that roguelite beat ’em up Absolum will launch for mobile devices on iOS via the App Store and Android via Google Play on November 5, 2026.

Absolum originally launched for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on October 9, 2025, followed by Xbox Series X|S on March 25, 2026. A Nintendo Switch 2 version is also planned for 2026.

The mobile release has been redesigned around phones and tablets, featuring a new interface and full touch controls. Controller support will also be available, alongside Game Center and Google Play Games achievements.

On Android, purchasing the game enables cross-progression between the mobile and PC versions when you use the same Google Play Games account. Cloud saves also support sharing progress between devices on iOS and Android.

The story follows a resistance rising against the Sun King Azra. After a magical cataclysm, Azra wages war to seize all magic for himself, leaving rebels and their allies to challenge him.

Absolum’s art and characters are co-created with animation studio Supamonks. Combat combines arcade-style melee with counters, magic, and upgradable abilities, while the worldbuilding introduces quests, NPCs, and branching outcomes not typically seen in the genre.

The title also embraces roguelite replayability, with branching paths, quests, and unlockable upgrades encouraging multiple playthroughs. 

Absolum is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
