It’s The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time week, and it’s time to party like it’s 1998, but in 2026. Google has added its own little celebration to the website. If you search for Ocarina of Time on either mobile or desktop, a little Master Sword appears in the bottom-right corner of the screen. Place the sword and the page will travel back to what Google looked like in 1998. You know, before it was filled with adverts and Gemini AI rubbish.
Sadly, the effect only works on the one page, and you can’t keep it forever.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake releases later this week, and if you want to keep the 1998 feels going, we’ve compiled Australia’s best prices, some of which are as cheap as the game was when it first came out. Funny how that works.
