Xbox announced a partnership with T-Mobile and their new service T-Mix, providing customers in the US with access to either Xbox Game Pass Premium or Ultimate.

Announced in detail over on T-Mobile’s website, the carrier is ‘mixing it up‘ after ‘decades of rigid one-size-fits-all wireless plans‘ with T-Mix, providing their customers with ‘Picks’, “toward a range of benefits spanning streaming, music, gaming, food delivery, sports, AI, wireless benefits and device promotions.”

Picks Include:

• Apple TV
• DashPass by DoorDash
• Hulu
• Netflix
• Pandora
• SiriusXM
• Apple Music
• ESPN Unlimited
• Delta SkyMiles
• Google Gemini
• Paramount+
• Xbox Game Pass
• YouTube Premium.

“The wireless industry has spent decades telling customers what their plan should be — even though 84% of consumers surveyed want more control over what they pay for. One-size-fits-all was simple for the industry, but for customers it turned into one-size-fits-nobody. T-Mix flips that model, giving customers more say in what matters to them and plans that they can change as their lives change. This is another big step in our journey to make wireless value more relevant, more flexible and built around the customer.”

Allan Samson, Chief Marketing Officer, T‑Mobile.

Over on Xbox Wire, Microsoft have clarified that beginning in November, “Eligible T-Mix customers can choose Game Pass Ultimate or Premium, unlocking an instant library of games playable on the devices they already own, including XBOX consoles, Smart TVs, PCs, and more.” Microsoft have noted this is the first time that Xbox Game Pass has been made available as part of a wireless plan in the US.
