DCKO was announced today, a free-to-play DC Comics fighter that decidedly isn’t Injustice 3.
“DCKO is a free-to-play mobile DC fighter,” reads a description attached to an announcement trailer, which can be seen below.
“Play as the DC Super Heroes and DC Super-Villains you love, fight real opponents worldwide in live real-time battles, or take on the DC Universe solo. A new Legend joins every month.”
A multitude of characters were shown off in the trailer, including Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Robin, Catwoman, Nightwing, Starfire, Harley Quinn, Constantine, Bane, Lex Luthor, Blue Beetle, and even Doomsday (the baddie, not the Marvel movie). The game’s website also details the likes of Zatanna, Katana, Green Lantern, Raven, Poison Ivy, and Cyborg.
Gameplay shown in the trailer seems to indicate a tag-based battle system.
If you like what you see above, you can pre-register for DCKO now on both Android and iOS devices.
DCKO is planned for a 2027 release and is developed by published by Drop Fake.
