Soshle Is a Social Platform of Games for Mobile, Out Now

Soshle is a fresh spin on the social gaming trend. It lets you take the same character, friends, profile, and identity everywhere. The mobile social media and gaming platform launched on mobile and lets you have some real fun.

At the centre of all this is Soshle’s social network. It has player profiles, social posts, feeds, comments, likes, follows, friends, followers, direct messages, conversations, guild chat, and ways to share profiles and discover communities.

Your character acts as your identity across the entire platform, so the same avatar you use while exploring a dungeon can also show up in your posts and conversations. The feed also keeps track of things you’ve actually done in games. Your profile brings your posts, game profiles, achievements, and milestones together on one page.

Messaging in Soshle works across regional servers, so you can send direct messages to friends wherever they are in the world. Meanwhile, guild chat keeps your fellow players together in one room. And since your character appears in those conversations wearing whatever you’ve equipped, your look follows you around even when you’re just chatting.

Cosmetics work across the platform, too. There’s also a shared premium currency called Gems, which works across Soshle’s games. You can use Gems for passes, premium perks, and cosmetics, with everything coming from the same wallet rather than having to manage a separate currency for every game.

As for the games, there are different options, such as Soshle MMORPG, a cozy creature-collecting MMORPG, and Soshle Mini Golf. Soshle also has a Creator Studio, which lets you design your own cosmetics and sell them to other users in exchange for Gems.

Is Soshle the new Roblox?

I know what you’re thinking. It’s the same approach with both platforms merging socialization with a multi-game catalogue. However, you’ll be surprised to know that the inspiration behind Soshle wasn’t Roblox.

Instead, it was inspired by the desire to combine a traditional Web 2.0 social network structure with a cross-game virtual ecosystem. Think of how Instagram or Facebook features dedicated feeds, posts, follower counts, and direct messages.

You can check out the game on the Google Play Store.
