Join Now!Today, publisher Yostar pushed out their latest update to their free-to-play shmup title ‘Azur Lane’ across mobile platforms. This update brings about the event “Tales of the Paranormal”, bringing two new Ultra Rare shipgirls, Azuchi and Tiger, alongside a lineup of new characters, returning and permanent skins, and a wealth of in-game rewards.
The event runs from 8 September to 30 September 2026 and Commanders have until 23:59 (UTC-7) (California time) on the final day to participate and claim their loot.
New Shipgirls and Construction
This update adds a total of six new shipgirls to the roster. As Commanders clear campaign stages, they accumulate PT. Reaching designated PT milestones automatically unlocks the Elite shipgirl, Hostile.
Commanders can also exchange PT for an array of prizes in the shop, headlined by the Ultra Rare shipgirl, Tiger, and the Super Rare shipgirl, Victorious META. For alternative acquisition, Victorious META appears as a stage reward and is also available in the Limited Construction pool. Meanwhile, the Limited Construction banner features a rate-up for the following new shipgirls: Ultra Rare Azuchi, Super Rare I-14, and Elite Hasty.
New Arrivals in the Event Shop
Eight new skins debut in the outfit boutique during the first week. The spotlight shines on the highly anticipated “Spooky Tales” series, which boasts three stunning L2D+ skins: “The Midnight Channel” for Friedrich Carl, “Alleyway Temptress” for Lion, and “Wandering Glow of Midnight” for Illustrious.
Another standout is Azuchi’s “Testing Courage in Crimson”—a rare Dual-Form skin that perfectly highlights her charm. By logging in, Commanders receive three rental outfit vouchers, which can be used to try out the new skins for Illustrious, Azuchi, and Friedrich Carl for free.
An array of fan-favorite skins also returns to the shop, offering Commanders another opportunity to grab any outfits they have missed. Standouts of this rerun include the stunning L2D+ “Floral Ninja Roleplay” for Hakuhou, alongside the unique Dual-Form skin, “An Evening’s Companionship,” for Yorktown II.
Azur Lane can be downloaded on Android via Google Play and iOS devices. You can also emulate the game on PC via Android emulators such as MuMuPlayer.
